The Shareholders / Directors
Ramsamy Coetzee is proudly a fifty-three (53%) percent black-women owned law firm reflecting our commitment to empowerment, diversity and inclusive economic participation. The founding shareholders and directors are Cheryl Ramsamy and Jannie Coetzee who have extensive experience in the conveyancing and legal sector.

Meet Our Directors
Cheryl Ramsamy
Director - B.Proc, MBA
Cheryl Ramsamy graduated with a Baccalaureus Procurationis from the University of Durban Westville and a Master’s in Business Administration from Henley Business School.
She was admitted as an attorney on the 26th of November 1999 and as a Conveyancer on the 31st of July 2001. She was previously a Director and Shareholder of a well-established legal practice whose footprint covered Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal and the Cape Province thereby gaining extensive experience in operational and other core business functions.
In her previous position Cheryl Ramsamy headed the development team, leveraging on her experience, expert knowledge and professional insight to support and strengthen the company’s development department. She worked on projects such as Eye of Africa, Chancliff Ridge Extension 32, Pebble Lane, Waterfall Ridge, Willow Creek, Vachellia, The Woods, Willow Falls, Olea View, Yo Residence, Melody Manor and Thaba Eco Village to name a few.
Cheryl Ramsamy’s expertise encompasses the opening of township and sectional registers, registration of subdivisions and complex servitudes. Her success in development and Conveyancing matters is rooted in a genuine passion for the discipline, strong enjoyment of the field and the depth of expertise developed through years of practical experience.
Jannie Coetzee
Director - B.Proc
Jannie Coetzee graduated with a Baccalaureus Procurationis from the University of Johannesburg. He was admitted as an attorney on the 19th of August 1997 and as a Conveyancer on the 25th of November 2019. Jannie is a director and shareholder of a well- known legal practice in Gauteng.
He is extensively involved in all aspects of conveyancing and offers legal expertise in areas such as estates, matrimonial law, commercial litigation and residential developments. He works closely with various estate agents, bond originators, banks and developers.
Jannie Coetzee played a pivotal role in the establishment and construction of residential and commercial developments such as Midrand Gardens, Las Palomas, Hillcrest, Graceland, Villa Montego and New Road Office Park. This invaluable first-hand insight into the development process positions him perfectly to assist our clients in this area and he does so with the utmost commitment.
His passion, experience, expertise and in-depth knowledge of conveyancing and other legal disciplines contribute meaningfully to the operational, professional strengths and success of Ramsamy Coetzee Incorporated.
